2026 is the year that begins the countdown. It's important that the world realizes what's going to happen from 2026.
There are many things you are going to be doing more than you ever did before.
For example, you are going to be praying more than you've ever prayed before.
What does that even mean?

I believe we do have a choice in the spirit.
Either we begin praying more than we ever prayed before by choice, or we are going to be made to pray more than we have ever prayed before.

This has to do with individuals as well as churches and the church of Christ as a whole.

Years ago, we were getting ready to fly after being away for some programs. We were taking off from Johannesburg. So, all the time, as the hours drew near and the moment got closer and closer, I was very uncomfortable in my spirit; unusually uncomfortable.
I asked "Lord, why am I so uncomfortable? Do I cancel? Do I reschedule?"
Every now and again, I would sneak away to go pray.
I wondered if something was wrong with the weather, but the weather was beautiful.
I tried to find out what the weather would be in Lagos by the time we would be landing. But nothing unusual.
While I was on my knees and talking to the Lord, he responded in an interesting way

First, he gave me an instruction to go earlier than scheduled.
Then he said something interesting (which is why I'm giving you this story in the first place). He said "this is one flight in which you are going to be praying a lot".
So I asked "should I cancel then?". He said "No, go. But you will be praying".

So we arrived early to the airport and we decided to just go even though it was not the time scheduled.

As we moved to the plane, there was an unusual breeze, but I didn't think anything serious.
So we got on the plane.

The moment, the plane got off the ground, the wind collected it. The next thing we knew, the plane went to the side. It was like paper in the air. Sideways, up and down. You could hear the sound of the plane struggling with the wind.

Now I got it.
Ofcourse, we let our powerful tongues. It was time to pray. This time, not just praying quietly. We opened our mouths talking to the wind, the plane and whatever was out there. We knew we couldn't be asking the pilot what's going on.
This was on for quite a while.
I've never been a flight like that. The pilots had never been in a flight like that

Interesting thing: If we had left later, we would not have been able to leave the South African air space. The weather was terrible. They said they hadn't had such weather for 90 years. Buildings were destroyed. Terrible thing!

We kept praying because I remembered what the Lord said. I was to continue the praying until there was no need to pray .. but we prayed a long time.

So when the Lord says we are going to pray more than ever before, better make a decision to pray either by choice or else you are going to be praying because of circumstances.

Don't wait. Just begin. Start having your prayer plan Now. Don't be pushed by Circumstances into Prayer.
Make the decision.
The Lord told us men ought always to pray and not to faint.
